The FNAS provides students at the undergraduate and graduate levels with a modern and comprehensive education in all fields of natural and applied sciences This education develops both their theoretical knowledge and technical competence within the comprehensive objective of helping them build a rich cultural identity, sound citizenship, irreproachable morality and firm faith, in conformity with the University mission.

Note from The Dean

The Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences was officially licensed to begin its programs offerings and academic role and in 1987 with two main departments; mathematics and computer science. As of 1991, the FNAS officially began to offer a freshman science program, which is equivalent to the official Lebanese Baccalaureate Part II, scientific option, and two undergraduate programs in mathematics and computer science at the level of the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
