How To Apply

At NDU, we seek promising students who will enrich our university community and go on to contribute meaningfully to society throughout their lives.

First-Year Applicants

Selection Process

Admission to NDU is based on a comprehensive assessment model that includes the following elements (listed in no specific order):

  • English Proficiency Tests: TOEFL, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, IELTS, or NDU’s English Entrance Test (EET)
  • Math Proficiency: SAT Math or NDU’s Math Aptitude Test
  • Secondary School Grades
  • The Application Form

Applicants are evaluated using a composite score, which determines eligibility for specific majors. The score is calculated as follows:

  • 55%: Grades from the First and Second Secondary Years (S1 and S2)
  • 45%: SAT Math or NDU Math Aptitude Test

Each faculty sets its own required composite score for admission into its programs. Students who do not meet the required score may be admitted with remedial course conditions.

In addition to completing the application form, applicants must submit:

  • Official secondary school grades (S1 and S2)
  • Certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate Part II or its equivalent (from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education)
  • Copy of a valid Identity Card or Passport
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Scores of standardized tests (TOEFL, SAT, IELTS), if taken externally

Faculty-Specific Admission Requirements

Admission to each program depends on meeting the criteria set by the respective faculty. Applicants typically apply with a specific major in mind, so it's essential to review the detailed requirements related to your chosen program.
