Note from the Chair

As part of the Faculty of Humanities, the Department of Media Studies at NDU offers a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts with two emphases: Journalism and Electronic Media, or Radio and Television, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing.

At the graduate level, students are invited to pursue their master’s degree in Media Studies with three concentrations to choose from: Advertising, Television Management and Production, and Electronic Journalism and Public Relations.

Taking into consideration the perpetual change and growth in the vast field of media in general and media studies in particular, we seek to provide our students with the necessary and up-to-date academic tools on the level of both theory and practice, enabling them to integrate themselves into the industry and produce ethical, responsible, competitive, and creative outputs.

This objective is achieved via a team of highly qualified faculty members whose practical experience and academic knowledge are channeled to serve students and prepare them to thrive in the fields of advertising and marketing, journalism, and film and television.
