Note from the Chair

"The elevator to success is out of order. You’ll have to use the stairs, one step at a time." (Joe Girard)

Greetings and a hearty welcome to the Department of Psychology, Education, and Physical Education, nestled within the Faculty of Humanities. Our department proudly offers an array of undergraduate and graduate programs designed to nurture your academic journey and help you ascend towards your future aspirations.

At the undergraduate level, we provide three distinctive bachelor's degrees: a B.A. in Psychology, featuring emphases in Educational, Clinical, and Industrial Psychology; a B.A. in Education with a primary focus on Basic Education, complemented by the option to pursue a Teaching Diploma; and a B.A. in Physical Education and Sport.

For those holding a B.A. or B.S. in other teaching subjects and aspiring to instruct elementary school students, our Teaching Diploma program offers a valuable pathway. Similarly, schoolteachers without prior B.A. or B.S. qualifications who aim to enhance their teaching skills can explore the Teaching Certificate program.

At the graduate level, our department extends a range of advanced programs, including an MA in Education with emphases in School Management and Educational Leadership, Special Education, and Educational Technology. We also offer an MA in Educational Psychology, providing a deep dive into the nuances of this field.

Our dedicated faculty members, possessing high qualifications and unwavering commitment, are here to guide you, step by step, as you navigate your academic journey. They are passionately dedicated to preparing you for your future careers, ensuring that each stride you take brings you closer to your goals.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our faculty members for their tireless dedication and to you, for choosing to embark on this journey with us. The path to success may not always be an elevator ride, but rest assured, we are here to support you as you ascend, one step at a time.
