Course Descriptions

Level 1: Starter

This level is designed to make participants understand and use very fundamental expressions to satisfy their concrete wants and needs. Participants will focus on basic grammar rules of English, including basic sentence structures and verb forms. It enables learners to communicate in everyday situations with commonly used expressions and elementary vocabulary.

Level 2: Elementary

This level is designed to enhance participants’ competence in comprehending passages. It also helps them to improve their fluency in expressing themselves orally and in writing through conducting short conversations.

Level 3: Pre-Intermediate  

This level is designed to make language learners read and write in a developmentally appropriate way. At this point, the learners understand most English texts and feel comfortable communicating in a variety of situations. Therefore, this level will go further to help them develop their speaking skills in group discussions on topics of general interest and current events.

Level 4: Intermediate

This level is designed to enable participants to produce clear, well-structured, and detailed texts on complex subjects. It also improves learners’ fluency in expressing themselves orally and in writing through using the language flexibly and effectively for social, business, and academic purposes.
 

Level 5: Upper-Intermediate

This level is designed to make participants understand a large and long range of texts and conversations. Participants express fluently their own ideas and use adequately the language for academic, social, or professional contexts. They establish a well-structured and detailed text on complex topics.

Level 6: Advanced

This level is designed to make participants proficient and master users of the language. Participants should be able to master their language in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through using efficient critical thinking and logical analysis in different contexts: academic, social, and professional.
