Fundamentals of Financial Accounting 1
This course’s objective is to provide participants with the basic accounting concepts and techniques. It deals with the different aspects of measuring, summarizing, communicating and interpreting financial information of any business enterprise.
Fundamentals of Financial Accounting 2
This course will go in details concerning merchandising companies, and the handling of inventory transactions in the accounting records. This course will also cover bank reconciliation, in addition to clients’ management and the aging process.
Managerial Accounting
The Objective of this course is to provide participants with the principles and techniques used in planning and controlling processes such as cost behavior, costing systems, cost allocation and techniques to assess performance.
Budgeting
This course focuses on planning and preparing the budget for production processes. Participants will be able to prepare the sales budget, raw materials budget, production budget, and costs budget in addition to the analysis and comparison with the real numbers.
Lebanese Accounting System and Taxation
This course will introduce the Lebanese chart of accounts and accounting processes in addition to an introduction to different types of taxation laws including VAT and payroll taxes.
Auditing
The objective of this course is to integrate the most important concepts of auditing to assist students in understanding audit decision making and evidence (data) accumulation. Basic material covered includes a study of generally accepted accounting principles, as well as generally accepted auditing standards.
