Today, photography is at the fingertips of everyone with a smartphone rendering the job of every photographer out there in the field even more difficult. The aim of this program is to give the necessary tools to today’s photographer to be able to adapt to a fast changing and challenging world of photography.

Course Descriptions

Basic Photography

This course is designed to introduce the participants to photography helping them develop a strong basis for the creation of the image.

Image Manipulation/Photoshop for Photographers

This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to handle and manipulate digital images for diverse outcomes. They will be introduced to professional imaging software for retouching, montages, and collage.

Product Photography

This course is designed to allow participants to implement the knowledge acquired in courses 1 and 2 onto photographing products. Participants will have hands on branding and advertising techniques for photography.

Photographing Buildings and Nature

This course is designed to help participants understand what architecture and interior photography are, as well as have a more refined vision on landscape photography.

Documentary Photography

This course is designed to enable participants to find stories and write about them photographically as well as enabling them to document everyday life events like a photojournalist would do.

Photographing People

This course is designed to enable participants to understand people being the client or the model, and to know how to interact with them. It will help them have a subtle technique using studio or continuous lights as well as natural light or even combining them all together.
