Introduction to Management Information Systems
This course is designed to demonstrate the ability to discuss the drivers of the use of Information Technology (IT) in the
digital economy, its infrastructure, business applications, business continuity, fraud
prevention, data management and sharing. Having the ability to explore the web-based
technologies and applications such as E Commerce and E‐Business. Demonstrate the ability to
align Business IT strategies and how to acquire and develop business applications and
infrastructure and Have a thorough understanding of professional, ethical, and social
responsibilities.
Applied Microsoft Excel
This course is designed to provide participants how to use information technology in
operational decision making. It helps to develop a basic knowledge of, and ability to employ
in an office environment, Excel worksheets by applying and practicing duties and tasks
performed by business professionals using software tools to analyze how best an organization
can make strategic use of the facilities provided by the Information in order to achieve its
goals.
Project Management and Project Duration
This course presents an integrated view of the concepts, skills, tools, strategies and
techniques involved in the management of information systems projects. Project formulation,
including development of scope, design options, integration with other projects and project
development plans will be applied. Teach participants to different techniques to assess the
risks that can have an impact on project success.
