The Student Housing facility provided by NDU is a student service dormitory located on campus.

NDU Student Housing provides and promotes a living environment that is conducive to learning and encourages residents to use all available housing resources. The Student Housing facility offers a safe, well-maintained, and reasonably priced residence for NDU students. Students can benefit from a host of services such as laundry, equipped kitchen, TV room, study room, and Internet access. A front desk clerk is always on duty to provide assistance. A nurse is on call every night in case of emergency.

The NDU dormitory complex is comprised of two segregated wings, female and male, which can accommodate more than 400 students on campus.

Reservations

Applications for on-campus housing are made through the Student Housing Office, Office of Student Affairs. Students and their parents/guardians are asked to pass by the Student Housing Office, to learn about dorm rules and regulations and visit the housing facility.

Statement of Fees
After applying for the housing facility, the student should visit the Business Office to pay a deposit and 40% of the first semester fees. Returning residents should settle 40% of the semester fees, along with the first payment, on the scheduled tuition payment dates at the Business Office.

If a student is unable to settle the amount by the due dates, they must obtain special authorization from the designated person in charge to access the facility; otherwise, access to the room will be denied.

The fees per semester for each accommodation facility are as follows:

The deposit for shared accommodation is 200 USD, while the deposit for single accommodation is 300 USD.

The deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay period. In the event of any damage to the room or student housing facilities and furnishings, a fine will be charged and deducted from the deposit.

Payments should be settled in cash, in USD.

 

Failure to abide by the deadlines set for the settlement of the three installments will result in a fine of USD 50 for each delayed installment.

Resident Desk Assistant Click to download

A resident desk assistant is a trained student leader, selected for one semester, and whose term is renewed by the Student Housing manager for satisfactory performance for a maximum of three consecutive semesters. The student desk assistant is assigned to help the front desk staff member perform all their duties.

A resident assistant is a trained student leader, selected for one semester, and whose term is renewed by the Student Housing manager for satisfactory performance for a maximum of three consecutive semesters. The resident assistant is assigned to supervise students living on his floor in the Student Housing. He/she is available to help the Student Housing Administration with issues related to student life and to ensure that his/her floor is a safe, friendly, and supportive community for students.
Policies
All students who have been granted the privilege to use the University Internet access are required to sign this agreement, confirming their understanding and acceptance of its policy..
Male Student Housing
Block C, the male student housing, is located on-campus. This building provides students with services such as laundry, kitchen, TV room, Internet access, etc. A front desk clerk is always on duty to provide assistance. A nurse is on call every night in case of emergencies.

Block C can accommodate up to 213 students, distributed in 19 single rooms and 194 shared rooms. Each room is furnished with a single bed and mattress, computer desk, chair, wardrobes, mini-fridge, wash hand basin with mirror, blanket, bed cover, air-conditioning, cable TV, Internet connection, and internal telephone services. 

- Linen and “household” appliances are not provided. 
- Electricity supplying the Student Housing complex is 220 volts. 
- The facility is cleaned and maintained by professional cleaning personnel. 
- Students’ rooms are cleaned on a weekly basis.  
 
Female Student Housing
Block B, the female student housing, is located on-campus. This building provides students with a host of services such as laundry, kitchen, TV room, Internet access, etc. A front desk clerk is always on duty to provide assistance. A nurse is on call every night in case of emergencies.

Block B accommodates up to 156 students, distributed in 18 single rooms and 138 shared rooms. Each room is furnished with a single bed and mattress, computer desk, chair, wardrobes, mini- fridge, wash hand basin with mirror, blanket, bed cover, air-conditioning, cable TV, Internet connection, and internal telephone services.
