Note from the Chair

I am delighted to welcome you to the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Communication Engineering (ECCE) at Notre Dame University-Louaize.

Our ECCE Department comprises a dedicated team of 13 faculty members, alongside 5 laboratory instructors, collectively fostering an enriching learning environment for approximately 400 students spread across the three branches of the University.

At the undergraduate level, we proudly offer two ABET-accredited Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degrees: one in Electrical Engineering and the other in Computer and Communication Engineering. These programs are thoughtfully designed to provide students with a strong educational foundation in mathematics, the sciences, computer science, hands-on laboratory experience, practical training, engineering principles, and in accordance with the standards set forth by the Lebanese Order of Engineers and Architects.

For those seeking advanced studies, our department offers a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with specializations in Telecommunication, Networking, Micro-Electronics, Electromagnetics, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, and Control.

Research excellence is a cornerstone of our ECCE Department. Our esteemed professors have earned international recognition for their groundbreaking research publications, active involvement in organizing conferences, and contributions to the editorial boards of esteemed international journals. Our faculty members and students are actively engaged in diverse research projects spanning areas such as antenna design, digital signal processing, electromagnetic field computations, energy system optimization, microprocessor/microcontroller applications, telecommunication, power electronics, VLSI design, and innovations in engineering education.

I look forward to your journey with us in the ECCE Department, where you will find an environment that fosters academic growth, research innovation, and professional development. Feel free to reach out to us for further information or inquiries.
