The Minor in Nutrition covers the composition of food, specific nutrients’ requirements in the diet, their physiological functions in the body and the consequences of food processing and nutrients deficiency. The Minor in Nutrition is generally open to students majoring in Nursing, Medical Lab Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Hospitality Management and other business majors, Physical Education, Education, Psychology, and Communication Arts (Radio-TV).
