Patricia Mouamar has been working in the humanitarian and non-government organizations field for more than 15 years. As a child, she lived through the civil war in Lebanon and has a firsthand understanding of the protection challenges people caught in conflict face on a daily basis.
She started her Communications career within World Vision International - Lebanon office researching and producing communications materials. Shortly after, she led a strong communications team and maintained close contact with local and international journalists (print, TV, radio and web) to support the organization objectives. She represented the organization in a number of public and official events including BOND the UK network for organizations working in international development.
After a decade of telling effectively the Syrian refugee story and vulnerable Lebanese stories in Lebanon, she took the emotion, authenticity and passion to work with an international Dutch-based organization, Care4You since 2018. Till now, she heads the regional team of communications and strategic relations, to bridge the function between country field offices and supporting offices in areas of communications, major donors, and international speaking.
