Christina Zoghby

Christina Elias Zoghby; an English teacher with a thriving passion for the aesthetic world. For as long as she could remember, Christina found serenity and tranquility within the pages of novels and books.
Christina found beauty not only in reading a story, but it amazed her how much literature could add to a person’s wisdom and insight regarding life. She knew that she held a passion for the English language as soon as she caught interest in reading novels and finding rest within the pages of her diary.

During her high school years, Christina discovered that she not only enjoyed learning, but she also looked forward to sharing knowledge with individuals around her. As a result, she started her teaching journey in tutoring centers in addition to various freelance tutoring jobs. Her strong belief that everyone deserves the right to a proper education alongside her love and amazement towards the English language led her to major in English literature.

It has been quite an exquisite honor to graduate from NDU with a BA in English Linguistics and Literature as well as a Teaching Diploma. Christina’s journey in NDU not only taught her the mastery of the English language but she also adopted core values like leadership, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and time management.

After graduating from NDU, Christina began her professional teaching career at Sagesse High School. It has been two years as an Elementary English teacher. The latter experience enriched Christina’s view towards teaching and towards her love for the humanitarian side of the profession.

In addition to the previously mentioned diplomas, Christina has attended several workshops and seminars that have contributed to her ongoing growth as an individual, a learner and a teacher.
