Bruno Tabbal

After graduating with a BA in audiovisual studies from IESAV in Saint Joseph University in Beirut, followed by a Master’s degree in cinema, Bruno worked for sixteen years as a freelance producer and assistant director with various production houses in Lebanon and in the Mena region.

Being a performing artist as well, he worked on producing and directing his own music videos since 2010. He performed in la maison de l’UNESCO in Paris as well as plays in Beirut under the direction of Betty Taoutel and Joe Kodeih. He wrote, directed and acted in the operette play “La Princesse et l’Officier”, in collaboration with the Lebanese ministry of culture, held during the month of francophonie in the Lebanese national museum. 

He also created and hosted the ENTA MEEN segment for Abu Dhabi TV, then held the position of content producer for KALAM FI SERRAK for Egyptian television. In 2017, he created the SNOUNOU (“Swallow” in Arabic) initiative for cultural and touristic rural development, and held its manager and communication director positions.

He wrote and published the diptych essay book AND YET and is currently working on his second publication, a novel in French.

He pursued a Master’s degree in Cultural Mediation, communication and management from the Sorbonne in 2020 and edited an eco-tourism magazine in both French and English, as a memoir.
