Faculty Profile

The Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences (FNHS) offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate programs designed to prepare students for professional excellence in healthcare and related fields. Each undergraduate program is structured around three key components: the Liberal Arts Curriculum (LAC), which provides a broad foundation of knowledge; Core and Major Requirements, which ensure in-depth expertise in the chosen field; and Free Elective Requirements, allowing students to explore additional areas of interest.

Undergraduate students can pursue degrees in several disciplines, including a B.S. in Food Safety and Quality Management (93 credits), B.S. in Medical Laboratory Technology (103 credits), B.S. in Nursing (105 credits), and B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics (97 credits). In addition, the faculty offers minor programs for students wishing to supplement their major studies, including a Minor in Nutrition (15 credits) and a Minor in Food Safety & Quality Management (15 credits).

At the graduate level, the FNHS provides advanced study opportunities through its M.S. programs, including M.S. in Human Nutrition (35 credits) and M.S. in Food Safety & Quality Management (36 credits), equipping graduates with specialized knowledge and research skills to excel in professional and academic settings.
