Demographic Information

 

How do I change my name and/or social security number on my record?
Submit an e-petition via SIS. The Office of the Registrar will verify the original supporting documents.

How can I request an enrollment certificate?
You must complete the Request Form, clear your financial account with the Business Office, and send it to the Office of the Registrar.

 

For online request, complete the Request Form, and email it to the Office of the Registrar.

How can I request a degree verification?
Complete the Request Form, clear your financial account with the Business Office, and submit it to the Office of the Registrar.

 

Registration

 

I have a registration appointment today but I’m not eligible to enroll. What should I do?
If your SIS status shows a hold, consult the relevant office and follow their instructions.

I need help registering for courses. Is there someone I can contact?
If you experience technical difficulties with the online registration system, please contact the Office of Information Technology, Application and Software Development Department at sishelp@ndu.edu.lb.

 

For other registration related issues, contact the Office of the Registrar.

I am currently registered for this course but would like to switch my section to another open section. What should I do?
Log in to the Student Information System (SIS), and you will be automatically redirected to the registration sheet. Click the “Delete” button to remove your current section. Search for the new section, click “Add,” then click “Submit Registration” and follow the instructions.

I need a specific course for my major, but the seats are currently reserved. What can I do?
The related Chairperson and Dean have the authority to examine your situation and make an exception if appropriate. Contact your advisor for further information.

How do I drop a course?
Log in to the Student Information System (SIS) and you will be redirected to the registration sheet. Click the “Delete” button to drop the section, then click “Submit Registration” and follow the instructions.

How do I withdraw from a course within the deadline?

Log in to the Student Information System (SIS), select “Course Load,” click the “Withdrawal” button, choose the course you wish to withdraw from, and then click “Submit.”

 

Note: Ensure you are financially cleared.

What is a leave of absence?
A leave of absence is available to students who need to take time away from the University with the intention of returning the following semester. For complete information on leave of absence, please fill in the “Leave of Absence Form” on SIS.

What is the process for returning?
Contact the Office of the Registrar to reinstate you in person or send an email to registrar@ndu.edu.lb

Where can I find the last day to withdraw from a course?
Check the Academic Calendar for withdrawal deadlines. A reminder will be sent to your NDU email and posted on NDU’s social media platforms.

Transcript

 

How can I view my courses and grades?
View your transcript, program sheet, and course load on SIS.

Can I have my transcript faxed or emailed?
No, Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) has yet to implement the use of Electronic Transcript Exchange service (ETX).

How do I request a transcript, and is there a fee?

You can request a transcript by filling out a form at the Office of the Registrar, or by emailing the Office. The Business Office will provide an e-payment link for the fee, or you can pay in person at the Business Office. Transcripts take two working days to process and are collected from the Office of the Registrar.

For delivery (outside Lebanon only):

- Courier service incurs an extra charge; transcripts will be delivered within 5 to 7 working days with a tracking number.

 

1- Courier service will cost you an extra charge of LBP 700,000. The transcript will be delivered within 5 to 7 working days, and you will be given a tracking number to track your shipment.

2- Regular mail service will not involve any additional charges but needs between 20 and 30 working days to reach the destination.

Can someone else pick up my transcript?
If you submitted the request form in person, you or an authorized representative must present a copy of the request form for collection. For email requests, you can collect the transcript in person or authorize someone else to do so by sending an email with their name. The person collecting the transcript must present an official ID for verification.

 

Courses Description and Syllabus

 

How do I get the course descriptions?

To have your course descriptions authenticated, print or scan them from the NDU website and send the printed or scanned copies to the Office of the Registrar for authentication.

 

Navigate to: Academics/Office of the Registrar/Catalog, and choose the catalog related to the year of your admission to the University.

How do I get the course Syllabi?
Contact the Administrative Assistant of the related Faculty’s Department or Dean.

 

Graduation

 

How do I apply to graduate?

Login to the Student Information System (SIS), click on “Graduation” menu, fill in the “Exit Survey”, then you will be redirected to the “Online Graduation Form”. Fill it carefully and correctly and submit it.

 

Note: This form can be submitted regardless of the student’s tuition fee status or outstanding payments.

I have lost or damaged my diploma. Can I get it replaced?
NDU will provide a replacement diploma if the original is lost or destroyed. To order a replacement, you must visit the Office of the Registrar and complete a form. If someone else will pick up the replacement diploma on your behalf, they must be authorized by filling out an “Authorization Form.” Each replacement diploma follows the current format and includes a notation stating that it is a replacement of the original. The diploma will bear the date of its preparation and reference the date of the original loss or destruction. All replacement diplomas will include the signatures of the current University President, Faculty Dean, and Registrar.
