Born in Bcharre, Lebanon in 1962, Fr. Khalil Rahme was ordained priest of the Maronite Mariamite Order in 1987. He studied Theology and Philosophy at the Pontifical University of “Laterano” in Rome, and, Musical Theory and Notation, Piano, Classical and Gregorian Singing at the School of Music “T.L. La Victoria” and the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome. He also studied Music Composition and Organ with Maestro Valentino Miserachs.
He is Founder and Director of the Notre Dame University Choir and School of Music since 1993 and is a teacher in the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music since the year 2000.
