The Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences (FNHS) at Notre Dame University –Shouf Campus (NDU-SC) organized on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 a NUMED session, delivered by Ms. Mabelle Azar, sales representative with a BS degree in Clinical Nutrition, MS in Marketing, moderated by Dr. Lara Youssef.
Ms. Azar began her session by introducing the NUMED corporation and stated that it is devoted for the provision of innovative medical and nutrition clinical equipment as well as health educational tools and that session was part of NUMED’s vision involving public service and spreading professional educational awareness.
Inspired by the SOAP nutritional note, Ms. Azar focused on the Objective, Assessment and Plan parts in a practical consultation simulation setting.
During this session, students were given the opportunity to practice what they learned in theory through real clinical equipment and educational tools.
