We can achieve much when we join hands to serve, help, and show love to those around us. Notre Dame University-Louaize Shouf Campus (NDU-SC) firmly believes in such an approach to life and has once again put its Hands of Love into the service of the community and into doing good.
The SC Hands of Love – Campus-to-Community is a service initiative launched by the SC to commemorate its 15th anniversary. The initiative will become a tradition whereby the SC community will commit a minimum of 10 hours of community service for every year that passes.
SC faculty, staff, and students joined the fundraising event organized on Sunday, April 16, 2017, by the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) in the Shouf Cedar Reserve, Barouk Cedar Forest. They walked together in support of the LRC members who volunteer their time and energy to serve the Shouf community and every citizen across Lebanon. Singer Salim Assaf also partook in the event, and he and SC students injected an atmosphere of fun and excitement. It truly was a walk to remember!
