Christmas is all about love – love manifested in the sharing of a loving thought, a warm smile, an understanding word and perhaps cheerful entertainment over a nice hot meal. Well… this is how the Pastoral Club at NDU-Shouf Campus chose to share their Christmas with the needy and the elderly.
Busily, under the guidance of Fr. Walid Nassif, University Chaplain, and Fr. Dominique Nasr, Assistant to the Director and the support and encouragement of Fr. Hanna Tayar, NDU-Shouf Campus Director, the Pastoral Team prepared for the December 22, 2016 lunch at the Country Gate Restaurant in Deir El Kamar. They mixed and mingled with the elderly and those in need to provide companionship and entertainment in celebration of the birth of Jesus. All the children went home with gifts but more importantly everyone went away with a beautiful Christmas memory – knowing they are remembered, loved and cared for.
