The Nutrition Fair has become a tradition at NDU-Shouf Campus. Like every semester, the Basic Human Nutrition (NTR 201) students of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences organized the Fair, on December 20, 2016 in the Conference Room to increase health awareness among NDU community members.
The students researched and presented, under the supervision of Dr. Lara Youssef and Miss Rita Helou, the topics which ranged from the nutritious Chia seeds to the importance of Olive oil, the health benefits and harmful effects of ginger, as well as the super nut, Almond, and the Soy with its nutritional facts and dangers.
The topic posters prepared, by the students, were evaluated based on the overall look, content, uniqueness, as well as social vote.
Administrators, instructors and students as well as NDU-SC Director Fr. Hanna Tayar attended the fair and enjoyed the healthy foods and beverages that were offered in a warm and cozy winter atmosphere.
