Following the resignation of the Abbot Maroun Chidiac from the position of Superior General of the Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary, His Holiness Pope Francis appointed Fr. Pierre Najem, elected as Vicar General last August and current NDU President, to assume the position of Superior General on March 29, 2021.
NDU wishes the new Superior General a blessed tenure.
