NDU President, Fr. Bechara Khoury, attended the meeting and the general assembly of the Federation of Catholic Universities in Europe and Lebanon (FUCEL) which took place in Barcelona between November 11 and 13.
During the conference and the different plenary sessions, Fr. Khoury described the current overall situation in Lebanon while focusing on the challenges that NDU has been facing since 2019. He highlighted that NDU's mission is to foster excellence in scholarship, enlightened citizenship, and human solidarity. As such, the University has been keen on safeguarding the high level of education it provides its students and promises to stand strong, remain resilient, and to surmount all impending issues.
