As of December 8, 2016, NDU has officially become an Associated Member of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). The AUF is an international association, comprising of institutions of higher education and scientific research centers from around the world that use the French language.
The organization has a network of 62 offices, branches, and digital campuses in 40 countries.
Becoming a member of AUF is not open to all, as candidates have to satisfy a number of criteria regarding the quality of teaching, the degrees offered, qualifications of faculty members, and other conditions.
The NDU membership in the AUF should offer the opening to University faculty members and students to participate in research ventures with other AUF members, allowing our students to explore opportunities to attend conferences, seminars, training sessions, etc.
