Notre Dame University- Louaize (NDU) alumnus Karel Malkoun, who holds a B.A. in Communication Arts - Radio, TV & Film emphasis, was selected to represent the Division of Audio Visual Arts (DAVA) from September 26, 2017, till October 6, 2017, in Namur, Belgium, as a young juror in the prestigious 32nd edition of the Festival International du Film Francophone (FIFF).
During the festival, workshops were held, following screenings involving films from Francophone Countries or themes relevant to that area. The films selected helped open the eyes of a younger generation to the world around us.
Karel said, “It feels amazing to meet people from different cultures who share the same passion, to watch movies all day long and debate them, to listen to others' perspectives, to learn and discover a new city, all at once. The FIFF de Namur was such a motivational and inspirational journey!"
