FBAE DEAN SELECTED AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT TWO ASSOCIATION TO ADVANCE COLLEGIATE SCHOOLS OF BUSINESS (AACSB) CONFERENCES

FBAE DEAN SELECTED AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT TWO ASSOCIATION TO ADVANCE COLLEGIATE SCHOOLS OF BUSINESS (AACSB) CONFERENCES

October 9, 2020 – Dr. Viviane Naimy, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics (FBAE) at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), has been selected as they keynote speaker at two major conferences for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the world business school association.

 

Held in collaboration with the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), the first conference, “AACSB and UNIMED Collaborative Sessions – Driving Collaboration Between Universities in the Mediterranean Region”, was held on October 7, 2020. Dr. Naimy was one of the keynote speakers in the conference’s first session, where she addressed the role of business and management higher education in aiding economic recovery and development. Dr. Naimy highlighted some of the initiatives taken by the FBAE, particularly their work with government, local, and national businesses in order to lead and contribute to economic recovery following times of crisis.

 

The second conference, the AACSB’s “Europe, Middle East, and Africa Annual Conference”, will be held on October 26, 2020. Dr. Naimy will feature as a panelist in the first Keynote session, “Embracing Agility,” alongside experts from across the world. Dr. Naimy’s position will be to highlight how the FBAE itself is embracing agility to maximise its impact and stay ahead of a changing world.
