The Office of Research and Graduate Studies, in collaboration with the Office of NDU Publications – NDU Libraries, is pleased to host a Book Signing Ceremony honoring the latest work of Dr. Roudi Baroudi, Settling Maritime Boundaries in the Eastern Mediterranean: Who Will Be Next? The event will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Pierre Abou Khater Auditorium, Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU).

Dr. Baroudi’s timely publication offers a comprehensive analysis of maritime boundary negotiations in the Eastern Mediterranean, examining the legal, political, scientific, and economic dynamics that shape the region’s evolving landscape. Through this scholarly contribution, he highlights the critical importance of international law and diplomacy in resolving conflicts and fostering regional cooperation.

The book also features exclusive, high-precision maps that identify, with unprecedented accuracy, where the negotiated or adjudicated sea borders of several Eastern Mediterranean countries would lie, in accordance with United Nations standards. Dr. Baroudi emphasizes that resolving outstanding boundaries—including those involving Lebanon, Cyprus, Syria, Turkey, and Greece—is essential for unlocking energy potential, ensuring security, and enabling transformative investments in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

With over 47 years of experience in the energy industry, Dr. Baroudi continues to champion energy as a platform for dialogue and peace. During the event, he will be available to answer questions and sign copies of the book.

All proceeds from book sales will go toward Student Financial Aid at NDU.
