The Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the Department of Community Service and Awareness and the Office of Student Affairs at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), cordially invites you to attend a session titled "Is Vaping a Safer Alternative to Cigarette Smoking?" This session is organized by the BIO 204 class and the Eureka Club. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 20, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pierre Abou Khater Auditorium.
During this session, Dr. Myriam El Hajj from Hôpital Notre Dame des Secours will provide valuable insights into smoking and its associated side effects. Additionally, the program includes information on Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) gum. As part of the event, there will be a visit to the biology lab where you can test your lung volume capacity. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a survey and research study.
