The Office of Student Affairs (SAO) at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) cordially invites the academic community to attend the 5th NDU Model United Nations (MUN) Opening Ceremony. The event, themed "Resilience Under Pressure," will feature a distinguished keynote address by Imran Riza, the United Nations Deputy Special Coordinator for Lebanon and Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Bechara Rai Theater. This significant event marks the beginning of NDU’s annual MUN conference, which aims to foster critical thinking, diplomacy, and leadership skills among participants.

The program will explore the challenges of maintaining resilience in the face of adversity, with a focus on Lebanon’s complex humanitarian landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for students and faculty to engage with global issues and hear insights from a leading expert in international diplomacy and humanitarian efforts.
