Lebanon has been undergoing an increasingly volatile economic and political situation for several years, with various attempts to ease the situation yielding underwhelming results.
In this lecture, new ideas on how to rebuild the Lebanese economy as well as appease political tensions will be introduced by Dr. Christopher S. Hyland, President of Christopher Hyland Inc. and Deputy Director of the Clinton Gore Campaign, and Dr. Imad El Hage, former President of the US Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and current President of American Underwriters Group.
Moderated by Dr. Habib Charles Malik, son of the renowned Dr. Charles Malik, known for his involvement in the UN Declaration of Human Rights, this lecture will be discussing novel and unconventional strategies on how to move forward in times of national tensions and socio-economic stagnation, stimulating nuanced conversations regarding how the larger political and economic picture influences the daily lives of individuals.
RSVP before May 21 by calling 09 208 081 or 81 208 333, or via pap@ndu.edu.lb.
The lecture will be live streamed.
