Selection Process

The selection process involves a rigorous assessment model that encompasses the following elements, presented in no specific order:
  • TOEFL, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, EET (NDU English Entrance Test), or IELTS
  • SAT Math or NDU Entrance Test (Math Aptitude Test)
  • Secondary school grades
  • The application

In the application procedure, the Composite Score (CS) plays a pivotal role and is determined through an evaluation of accepted students' files. The weighting for this score is allocated with 55% for school grades (first and second secondary years) and 45% for SAT Math or NDU's Math Aptitude Test. To gain admission to their preferred major, applicants must attain a specific CS score mandated by the respective faculty. Remedial courses are available if necessary.

The application serves as a reflection of the applicant's qualifications and suitability for the desired major. In addition to the application form, various required documents must be submitted:

  • Officially issued school grades
  • A photocopy of the Identity Card or Passport
  • A recent passport-size photo
  • Certified copy of Lebanese Baccalaureate Part II or its equivalent from the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education
  • Scores of standardized tests taken outside NDU (TOEFL, SAT, and IELTS if available)
