The Department of Design at Ramez G. Chagoury, Faculty of Architecture, Arts & Design offers educational programs in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Photography. The programs are designed to address the complexities and diversities of the professional practice, and to foster the student’s academic and critical thinking abilities. Furthermore, the department houses a Masters of Arts in Design degree, which offers a solid theoretical platform to underpin the future of the design discourse in the region.
Our curriculum follows the American system of higher education in line with the vision of NDU to prepare our students to be proactive citizens and entrepreneurs, with critical minds, and the adequate knowledge in design theories and technological know-how.
The department values and encourages interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teaching, and reaches to its international alumni community to further enrich our student’s experiences.
