Thaddeus D. Hicks, PhD Student


Thaddeus D. Hicks is currently a Ph.D. student at Kent State University in Ohio where he is studying Political Science while concentrating on justice politics and policies. Mr. Hicks has an M.A. in conflict Transformation and Restorative Justice from The Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia and a B.S. from Ashland University in Ohio, where he majored in Criminal Justice. Mr. Hicks worked as a police officer in Ohio for 8 years before resigning to continue his graduate studies. Mr. Hicks has spoken at several conferences and conducted a number of workshops concerning policing, offender reentry and the implementation of justice.
