Anthony Bou Sleiman, MA Student
Anthony holds a B.A. in law from the Faculty of Law and Public Administration at the Lebanese University. He is currently completing his Master’s degree in Law at La Sagesse University in Beirut. Over the last few years, Anthony has volunteered as junior lawyer at three different law firms focusing on various aspects of the Lebanese legal system (i.e., labor law, international private law, civil law, and commercial and corporate law). Anthony was secretary of the Lebanese University’s student council in 2005-2006 and a participant in the Youth Empowerment and Participation Project and in Nahwa Al-Muwatinya (a group that promotes the concept of citizen rights). Anthony is very active in his community; he is a member of the Scouts du Liban, and of the Chekka Speedball/Volleyball Team. Anthony also campaigned in favor of youth engagement and youth empowerment during the parliamentary elections of 2009 and the municipal elections of 2010. With LERC he is engaged in legal research in law and immigration in Lebanon.
