Association

The NDU Alumni Association was founded in 1992 by a group of dedicated graduates who sought to maintain a strong connection with their alma mater and foster a sense of camaraderie among themselves. The primary objective then, as it remains today, is to bring together NDU alumni from around the world under a shared vision of Commitment, Unity, and Prosperity for the mutual benefit of NDU and its graduates. To ensure a lasting bond between alumni and the University, the Association works closely with the Department of Alumni Affairs. In December 2016, the Alumni Association Committee was elected, further strengthening the collaboration between the Office and the Association.

The Alumni Association Committee has set forth the following key goals:

1. Update the University's alumni database across the three main campuses: Zouk, Shouf, and North Lebanon. This will ensure accurate and comprehensive information on all alumni.
2. Develop internal bylaws that govern the Committee's operations, fostering transparency and effective decision-making.
3. Extend membership opportunities to all alumni in alignment with the established bylaws. This inclusivity aims to engage a wide range of graduates in the Association's activities.
4. Foster collaboration with various committees, subcommittees, and chapters within the Alumni Association, promoting synergy and collective efforts.
5. Actively participate in alumni functions and other University events to strengthen the sense of community and provide networking opportunities for alumni.
6. Organize fundraising events to support the Association's initiatives and contribute to the growth and advancement of NDU.

By pursuing these goals, the Alumni Association Committee strives to enhance alumni engagement, create valuable connections, and contribute to the progress of both NDU and its graduates.
