NDU ALUMNUS PUBLISHES GUITAR TEACHING BOOKS
Wissam Abboud, alumnus of Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), has recently published two books on learning classical guitar. Abboud holds a Master of Arts in Music, and a Bachelor Degree in Musicology from NDU. He also earned Bachelor of Arts in Music - Classical Guitar Performance and Baccalaureate Diplomas in Theoretical Studies and Sight Singing from the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. Now he has published two educational books on classical guitar and sight reading for complete beginners.

Mastering the Classical Guitar Book 1A is the first book in the series, and is intended for students with no prior musical experience. The second book, Mastering the Classical Guitar Book 1B, is intended for intermediate students and teaches broader musical theory in addition to reinforcing lessons on classical guitar. Both books are also intended to be used by teachers as a guide to plan their lessons. The books are published by MelBay and are available on Amazon, Music Room, and the Google Play Store.

Abboud is currently a Guitar, Theory, Sight Singing and Music Appreciation instructor at the School of Music of Antonine and  NDU. You can find him at: https://wissamabboud.com/
