The Minor in Nutrition covers the composition of food, specific nutrient requirements
in the diet, their physiological functions in the body, and the consequences of food
processing and nutrients deficiency.
This Minor is generally open to students majoring in Nursing, Medical Lab Technology,
Biology, Chemistry, Hospitality Management, and other business majors, in addition to
Physical Education, Education, Psychology, and Communication Arts (Radio/TV).

Graduation Requirements
“D” is the passing grade for each course, and the minor should be completed with an overall GPA of at least 2.0/4.0.
