Current students interested in applying for the work-study grant for the Fall 2024 semester must access Financial Aid through SIS, click on the WSG application/renewal, and adhere to the guidelines provided. The deadline for current students to apply is March 29, 2024.
New students joining NDU for the work-study grant in the Fall 2024 semester will receive credentials from the Office of Admissions to access the Financial Aid Application online. The deadline for new students to apply for Financial Aid is July 1, 2024.
New Grants: USAID HEFA Initiative
The United States Government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), launched the Higher Education Financial Aid (HEFA) Initiative in partnership with Notre Dame University-Louaize at the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year. This initiative aims to support students in covering their tuition fees as part of the Higher Education Capacity Development (HECD) Program, implemented by the Education Development Center.
The HEFA initiative will provide financial support to a maximum of 400 undergraduate students over two consecutive academic years, covering up to 90% of their tuition. In the Fall 2022 semester, 100 students were already selected and approved, while another 100 were selected in the Spring 2023 semester and are awaiting the results.
To be eligible, students must follow the Financial Aid process, which includes filling out the Financial Aid application form, submitting it along with the relevant documents, and participating in interviews at the Department of Financial Aid.
The selection criteria for this program include the student's financial need, GPA, and the number of credits required for graduation.
