WORKSHOP ON COUNSELLING AND CALORIE COUNT

The Department of Nutrition at the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences (FNHS), Notre Dame University-Louaize  North Lebanon Campus (NDU), organized on Thursday, November 9, 2017, a workshop titled, “Counselling and Calorie Count,” presented by Ayla Coussa, a respectable dietitian with extensive experience in clinical work.  

Coussa is registered in both the American Dietetic Association and the Canadian Dietetic Association. She is currently practicing as a Clinical Dietitian at Fakih IVF in Abu Dhabi. She also developed the first Arabic version of the Diabetes Prevention and Management Nutrition tool for the Canadian Diabetes Association, a book titled, “Calories du Levant.”

The successful workshop drew a large crowd of NDU nutrition students as well as dietitians and interns working in the hospitals of Haykal, Al Mounla, Al Mazloum, and Nini.
