THE BENEDICT XVI CHAIR CALL FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Have you ever been involved in an impactful University-wide project aimed at creating an environmentally sustainable campus? How about recycling projects or upcycling? Done any work on energy efficiency?
Calling all NDU students to register now! This is an opportunity for you to present your unique project in a panel format, during an upcoming international conference to be held on November 2, 2017, between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., at NDU.  

You can register by submitting your project description and filling in a special form (download it here) and then sending it to Dr. Pauline Aad (paad@ndu.edu.lb). Make sure you report the purpose and outcome of the project. Call for submissions deadline is on October 16, 2017.
If you require any further details, kindly inquire with Dr. Pauline Aad or Dr. Edward Alam (benedict.chair@ndu.edu.lb). If selected, you will be contacted to provide further details on your presentation.

About the International Conference:

The Benedict XVI Endowed Chair at the Faculty of Humanities (FH), Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), is hosting on November 2, 2017, an international conference about sustainable development; the pertaining details such as E-invite and program agenda will be shared in due course.
NDU, officially a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), will gradually host a variety of initiatives developed and led by faculty, staff, and students to show innovative sustainability in action, preserve resources, and reduce environmental impact toward the achievement of the 17 SDGs by 2030. Many upcoming projects are ongoing and will be communicated soon across all media platforms.
