Receiving proper appreciation for one’s work is essential, especially if it is backed up by a culture which prioritizes knowledge and ethics.”
He added that “Students form NDU’s beating heart, and reflect the University’s quality as an excellent teacher,” and that they must be very responsible as they will be very soon the future of Lebanon.
Then he along with each faculty coordinator delivered the Honor’s list to every student according to their faculty.
During ceremony, Voice Kid Joanne Jabbour performed classic Arabic songs along with other talented NDU students, followed by a Zumba show that rocked the stage. Singer Amir Yazbeck gave an electrifying performance, with the crowd cheering and joining him to dance the national dabkeh.
The top five NDU-NLC students who participated in the Talent Show were also honored by Fr. Akl, who encouraged future generations to develop in confidence their talents and personalities.
“NDU has and will always continue to support her students because the University strongly believes they are the pillars of hope for a better future.”
