FROM STUDENTS' SUCCESSFUL SENIOR DINNER PROJECT TO EXOTIC SRI LANKA

FBM 351 students from the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (DHTM) at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics (FBAE), Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), chaperoned by their instructor, FBAE Hospitality and Tourism Management Senior Lecturer, Dr. Ghassan Beyrouthy, were given the opportunity to travel to discover any country of their choosing.

The students chose Sri Lanka for this year, because they felt that it would prove to be essential in the life of a hospitality management student. They felt that Sri Lanka would prove to be an all-round exciting country, which would introduce them to an exotic new culture.

Upon their arrival, DHTM students took part in numerous touristic activities, and they also took a helicopter ride that offered breathtaking views of Sri Lanka.

“Our trip was memorable and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This trip took us out of this world and transported us into an entirely untamed realm!” the students chorused.

Dr. Beyrouthy said of the trip, “It’s the best to date, because it was the first trip where we could engage in various types of tourism, from religion and adventure to culture, sports, and much more.”
