The Department of Architecture at the Ramez G. Chagoury Faculty of Architecture, Arts and Design (RC-FAAD), Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), participated in the annual “14th Senior Architecture Projects Exhibition for Arab Architecture Schools” that took place in Amman, Jordan, between December 12 and 15, 2017. This exhibition falls in the framework of the recently established Union of Arab Architecture Schools of which the Department of Architecture at NDU forms a part. Several universities from Lebanon and the Middle East participated in both the exhibition and lectures series.
The RC-FAAD selected two NDU graduates, Stephanie Obeid and Jimmy Hani, to exhibit the posters of their work. A series of lectures, talks, and presentations were held in parallel to the exhibition and in collaboration with the Order of Jordanian Architects and the Jordanian University of Science & Technology (JUST). Dr. Habib Melki, Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture attended this event and presented a lecture titled, “Responsible Teaching towards Future Trends in Architecture.”
