SHADOWING PROGRAM AT NDU

  • SHADOWING PROGRAM AT NDU

The shadowing experience for prospective students involves spending few hours at NDU at a Faculty of their area of interest. This program is interactive and prospective students will get a chance to see NDU facilities and get in contact with the learning environment.

This shadowing can help students gain knowledge that comes from interacting with professionals in the field. Moreover, it will help them determine if their major/career path is a good fit, and explore possibilities.

What happens on that day?

The Shadowing Program matches prospective high school students with undergraduate students, attend a class, grab lunch at the cafeteria and get an informal tour of campus. To experience the academic side of NDU, high school students are welcomed by the Office of Admissions and guided to attend an approved undergraduate class (when in session) or explore different departments. To get a sense of student life at NDU, high school students can attend a campus event, have a meal on campus, or spend some time with a current student through the day visit programs.

How to apply?

The Office of Admissions alongside Faculties coordinates the Shadowing Program for high school students. A shadowing day is limited to 50 visiting students for each day from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Reservation of dates is required ahead of time as Shadowing Days fill up quickly. For questions on Shadowing, or reservations of Shadowing Days, please call the Office of Admissions at 09/208023 – Liaison Officer of the Program: Mrs. Theresa Bou Zgheib, ext. 2501 or by email (tbassil@ndu.edu.lb).
