NDU MUN DELEGATION AT THE 5TH EDITION OF THE RGMUN

NDU MUN DELEGATION AT THE 5TH EDITION OF THE RGMUN
The Notre Dame University-Louaize, Model United Nations (NDU MUN) team participated between August 17 and 20, 2017, in the “5th Edition of the Rotaract Global Model United Nations (RGMUN),”  which was held at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Attending the event were local and international delegates from Bahrain, Bulgaria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Iraq, Liberia, Mexico, Romania, Spain, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom.

NDU MUN claimed 6 out of the 10 awards.

In the ECOSOC Committee, Steven el-Hoyek was awarded ‘Best Delegate’ and Stephanie Sleilati won ‘Best Position Paper.’ In the UNEP Committee, all awards went to NDU-MUN participants with Sawsan Wehbi winning ‘Position Paper,’ Maryam Nsaif and Labeeb Slait clinching ‘Honorable Mention,’ and Tania Hannoun voted ‘Best Delegate.’

In addition to the names mentioned above, the NDU delegation comprised of Bassel Tarabay, Charbel Dahdouh, Eliane Sawma, Elie Gharios, Gebran Abou Zeid, Gina Saleh, Hani Abou Fadel, Jana Bou Frem, Johnny Gebrayel, Kelly Helou, Maria Aoun, Maria Rajha, Perla Sawma, Tala Tlili, Yara Mrad, and Yara Nassar.
