NDU STUDENTS MAKE THEIR WAY TO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS

Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) Radio, TV and Film graduates Salim Habr and Jihad Saade shot a documentary in Summer 2016, focusing on Lebanese adults’ fears and frustrations, their constant search for their identity, and their desire for a better country.

In October 2016, Habr and Saade were selected from among 60 pitches, along with 20 other projects from around the world, to develop their documentary with well-known European and American documentary film makers and to pitch their idea to potential buyers and co-producers, ranging from ARTE, Sheffield Doc/Fest, the Guardian, SVT, Aljazeera, CPH: DOX, and many other networks. Their well-received project garnered a great deal of attention in the hope of completing the movie in Summer 2017 in time to submit the film to various international film festivals.

Salim and Jihad, you've made NDU proud!
