Mexican collection

Photos donated by Dr Martha Diaz de Kuri, Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Mexico, and active member of the Centro Libanais in Mexico.

Colombian collection

Letters, photos, and magazines from several Lebanese emigrants in Columbia, donated in cooperation with Layla Saab and Ivonne Cury of Bogota, and the Hon. Rania Abdallah, Consul of Lebanon in Bogota.

Nigerian collection

Donated by Elie Nabhan and family, this collection presents pictures of Nigerian Lebanese dating back to before the Second World War; a small collection of coral beads that were used as currency and earned the Lebanese trader the nickname “Kora”; and traditional clothing known as “buba”, worn by Lebanese men at local Nigerian festivities, dating to the first half of the twentieth century.

Brazilian collection

Photos, books, newspapers and documents donated by Roberto Khatlab, of Universidad Santa Maria, Brazil, and the Lebanese Heritage Archaeological Museum, Lebanon.
