Cap and Gown

The regalia serves as the defining visual feature of the graduating class at the Commencement Ceremony. During the ceremony, the tassel of the Cap is traditionally shifted from the left side to the right, symbolizing the transition from student to alumni. Additionally, the Gown acts as a unifying symbol of honor among peers.

For the upcoming ceremony, graduates will be able to reserve their Cap and Gown as follows:

  • Summer and Fall 2024 Graduates: June 2 and June 3, 2025
  • Spring 2025 Graduates: June 4 and June 5, 2025

The reservation process will take place at the dorms, Block A study room, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A refundable fee of USD 50 is applicable for the Cap and Gown rental.

Remember to return your Cap and Gown at the Office of Campus Services in the SAO Building, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., on the following dates:

  • June 18, 2025
  • June 17, 2025
  • June 19, 2025

Failing to return it by the final deadline will result in the loss of your refund. Additionally, any damage to the Cap and Gown, such as stains or tears, will also result in the loss of the refund.
