You, future Designer and Artist, use marine life’s goods and services and rely on its beauty for your art and design production trying to relay messages to your admirers. In getting inspired from marine biodiversity, you present to the Lebanese community your perception of the beauty of marine biodiversity while spreading awareness on the importance of marine species and their conservation status. Your use of the theme on Marine Biodiversity in the production of design and art projects highlights the direct and indirect values of the seas and oceans, as well as the impact of humans on marine biodiversity, coastal habitats and the interaction between human and marine life.
We invite you to submit design and ceramic projects that relate to the charismatic, endangered and rare species found in the Mediterranean Sea, especially in Lebanese Marine life.

Eligibility
The competition for this year is open only to NDU Student enrolled in the design and ceramic courses.
Prizes
First Prize: USD 500
Second Prize: USD 300
Third Prize: USD 200
The results of the competition will be announced on May 24th, 2012 at 11:00 AM
