The Institute of Lebanese Thought (ILT) and the Anis Makdisi Program in Literature at AUB, organized the Int. Conf. on The Philosophy of Ameen Rihani. More than forty scholars from around the world gathered at Notre Dame University and The American University of Beirut to present their papers and discuss aspects of the philosophy of Ameen Rihani based on his Arabic and English works. Distinguished guests from Australia, Georgia, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Russia and USA participated in this outstanding academic event.
